Join us for a morning of celebration, remembrance, and impact! Event activities are available to all participants upon arrival and will remain open through the conclusion of the event at 11:00 am

Survivor & Thriver Area - sponsored by our National Partner, Zeta Tau Alpha this special space provides the opportunity for survivors and thrivers to connect, celebrate, and be recognized in their breast cancer journey. Pick up your sash, learn more about resources and support available to you, and engage with our partners who are eager to celebrate YOU! 

Caregiver Corner - this special area is dedicated to the special caregiver in your journey. Whether you are a survivor or thriver celebrating with your caregiver, or a caregiver joining us in memory of your loved one, join us here to be recognized for the selfless love and care you provide. 

Tribute Garden and Lions & Rabbits Art Installation - the Tribute Garden, sponsored by Daiichi Sankyo, is a place to honor those lives we have lost to breast cancer. We invite you to add to our display flower wall to remember your special loved one. Stop by the Lions & Rabbit Art Installation to leave your mark in art! 

Flower Bar - sponsored by the Piston Group, stop by to build your own take-home bouquet. Bouquets are available for a $10 donation.

Previvor Tent - The Previvor Tent is a meaningful, empowering activation dedicated to honoring previvors—people who have an inherited gene (genetic) mutation, have a family history of cancer, or have other known risk factors. At MSABC, we celebrate previvors who have taken preventative steps to reduce their risk and are looking for support from others on a similar journey.

Resource Village - sponsored by Henry Ford Health, this dedicated area brings together local organizations  for participants to learn more about the resources available to them in their community - whether it's learning about cancer risks and programs or mental health, stop by to see what our friends have to offer. 

Chevrolet - visit our Presenting Sponsor, Chevrolet, you snag your pink Chevy swag at the Chevy Store and check out all the fun they have in store for our Striders.

Pink Pit Stops - the fun isn't limited to the event space! Stop at one of two Pink Pit Stops along the route for water, bathrooms, food trucks, and music!

Event Parking

We are thrilled to partner with MGM Grand Detroit to offer FREE parking with complimentary shuttle service to Making Strides participants on event day! 

Address: 1777 3rd Ave., Detroit 

Shuttle Schedule: shuttles will begin running at 6:30 am with the final shuttle at Noon.

Getting to The Corner Ballpark: the event venue is a straight .7 mile walk from the MGM Detroit. If you prefer to walk, simply make your way to Michigan Ave. and turn right

Please allow extra time for parking garage traffic and shuttle wait times. You must PRINT and sign this  WAIVER to ride the shuttle. One waiver per person, please list children's names on waiver. Please bring waiver with you to expedite the process, or waivers will be on site to sign. 

Alternative parking options are available throughout Corktown, including street parking as available. Please note that road closures for the walk route will begin at 6:00 am and will impact access to surface lots and street parking.

The Bagley Mobility Hub is .6 of a mile from the Corner Ballpark and has over 1000 parking spots. To access, take 20th Street south from MI Avenue to Bagley and head east on Bagley. It will be on your right.
