A Labor of Love Night: A Concert of Solidarity
Mark your calendars, Local 1264 — the Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre is hosting "A Labor of Love Night" on Saturday, July 25, 2026, and all labor unions are welcome.
This night of solidarity brings the Motor City waterfront to life with a lineup straight out of Detroit's soul heritage: Charlie Wilson headlines, joined by special guests Evelyn "Champagne" King, The Mary Jane Girls, and Val Young.
Ticket pricing:
Lower Level: $89.55 (reduced from $125.55)
Upper Level: $62.55 (reduced from $80.55)
Lawn: $45
VIP add-on: $50 extra — includes a private bartender, food, a private VIP area, and early entry into the venue

Labor is donated for this event, so every seat filled shows up for the movement. Wear your red and come out to celebrate solidarity with music, food, and fellow union members on the riverfront.
