Official Notice: Nominations for Special Election
UAW Local 1264 has announced nominations are open for a special election for the following positions:
Skilled Trades Committeeperson, Stellantis
3rd Shift Chief Steward Divisions 1 (Pressroom), 2 (Assembly), and 3 (Non Production), Stellantis
1st Shift Chief Steward, Caravan
2nd Shift Chief Steward, Caravan
All eligible members of these shifts who have been in continuous good standing for a period of one year can be nominated.
Acceptance
Acceptance must be in writing, in person, at the office of the Recording Secretary of Local 1264, 7450 15 Mile Road, on Monday, August 17, and Tuesday, August 18, 2026, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
Drawing for Ballot Position
The drawing for ballot position will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at the close of nominations, at Local 1264 Hall, 7450 15 Mile Road, Sterling Heights, MI 48312.
Election
Voting will be held at UAW Local 1264 Hall on Thursday, September 3, 2026. Voting hours will be from 5:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
A runoff election, if necessary, will be held at UAW Local 1264 Hall on Thursday, September 10, 2026, also from 5:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
Every member must be in good standing and show their badge or proper identification to vote.
